Penang is one of my favourite destinations in Malaysia. After nearly three months of working from home, it is so fantastic to get out of city. This time I am here for only three staycation days.
While I am here, I normally love to take the funicular cable car up to the top of Penang Hill for amazing Sunset view. Stroll the heritage streets of Georgetown admiring the beautiful heritage houses and hunting street artworks.
The Penang government has prepared a heritage trail map for tourists. Download it if you need one. Otherwise, just hire a trishaw guide.
Of course, I won’t want to miss my favourite Penang street food! My list has Char Koay Teow, Curry Mee, Teochew Chendol, Penang Laksa, and Nasi Kandar. My belly puts on some weight now.
