I modified the original recipe to make these healthy digestive biscuits. The taste is close to factory-made. I keep this recipe without the need for eggs. The biscuits are softer.
Healthy digestive biscuits in the making
These biscuits are best for tea break

Ingredients
- 100g wholemeal flour
- 60g cake flour
- 70g organic rolled oats
- 5 Tbsp fresh milk
- 72g unsalted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 40g brown sugar
Baking instructions
01 Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
02 Put wholemeal flour and cake flour in a large bowl. Cut in butter and let it melt at room temperature. Then mix them until they resemble a coarse meal.
03 Mix in oats, sugar and baking powder. Mix them well. It is best to use your hands to mix.
04 Add milk a spoon at a time into the dry ingredients. Mix them until a dough forms.
05 Shape the dough into medium balls. Flatten the biscuits to 5mm thickness.
06 Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the biscuits from the oven. Let them cool on a wire rack.
