DailyUI Design Hint: Design a home monitoring dashboard. Be creative! What would make a dashboard visually appealing and fun to use, while also being mindful of the data? Try to make it a realistic exercise as if it were your own dashboard… one that you need to refer to daily. What is the most relevant data and what’s the most appropriate placement for it?

Yes! I’ve made it to the 1/5 mark. A Smart Home monitoring dashboard is the twenty-first task.

What do I want a smart home monitoring software to help me with if I have one? Before I go home, I’d like to turn on the lights and the air conditioner. I’d also like to prepare my own dinner. Then I wouldn’t be concerned if traffic was bad. Dinner has been prepared at home.

Why do I prefer working from home over working in an office full-time? The solution is straightforward. My present position is a hybrid, requiring me to work three days in the office and two days at home. Every other morning, I had to struggle through 45 minutes of traffic to get to work. It usually takes only 15 minutes to travel the distance. In the evening, I’ll have to waste an hour and fifteen minutes getting home. It’s a complete waste of time and energy!
