A boarding pass is required for air travel. A poorly designed boarding pass, on the other hand, is extremely inconvenient. I haven’t taken a plane since the pandemic. When I completed the web check-in, my mobile boarding pass resembled a puzzle of vital information. Could it look any better?
I understand that there are some limitations to how a boarding pass can be created. Every airline is distinguished by its colour and logo. However, the boarding pass must include a breakdown of clear information.
When will I take off? What is the flight number for my flight? Which gate do I exit through? What is my seat number on the plane?
So, keeping a simple design with a few sections of block colour will invoke those brand associations. It would also make travelling more comfortable.
