Stroll up the historical Atkinson Clock Tower in Kota Kinabalu

Atkinson Clock Tower

The Atkinson Clock Tower survives the bombings and fire from World War II. It is the oldest building in Kota Kinabalu dating back to 1905. Also the first clock tower in the city.

The tower stands high on Signal Hill and walking distance from the city centre. Built of locally sourced Merbau Timber, popularly known as Borneo Teak, which is extremely durable as well as resistant to weather and termites.
