Integrity
The most important trait in life – Integrity is always doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Honesty and integrity are values you should live by all the time.
Staying true to yourself and your word, even when you’re faced with serious consequences for the choices you’re making. Hold yourself accountable for your actions.
In reality, some good tips to get ahead:
- Being assertive to defend an ethical position is easier said than done.
- Avoid white lies; always tell the truth. I know how hard it is when you are a salaried staff and your superior asks you to do so.
- Take full responsibility for your actions. Don’t make promise that you can’t keep.
- Stay humble, give/share credit to others, unselfishness.
