Eggplant (Brinjal)
Eggplant is grown for its edible fruit. Mostly common purple spongy fruit. There are a few other varieties too. I planted three varieties in my garden.
The plant prefers hot sunny weather. However, it is very susceptible to whiteflies. Spray natural remedies every two weeks to prevent those pests.
We just love the fish-fragrance eggplants and curry-flavoured eggplants.
