Pumpkin is a superfood. It is rich in beta-carotene. Consuming beta-carotene over time is good for the heart and reduces cancer risk. It also decreases the risk of developing muscular degeneration due to age.
Including pumpkin in the diet helps to regular the blood sugar levels. However, some people prefer canned pumpkins. Try to steer clear of canned pumpkin because it contains additive sugars and syrups.
