So, I understand the thoughts of cooking a quick and healthy dinner for the family. Sharing my favourite recipe &#8211; stir fry Chinese Mustard Greens in less than 20 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/diet\/health-benefits-mustard-greens#1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chinese mustard greens<\/a> (\u82a5\u83dc) have been cultivated for centuries. It grows about 12 inches in length and has a large stem with leafy greens at the top. The greens are quite bitter with a slightly peppery taste. Traditionally, my late grandmother would use salt to pickle and preserve as <em>Suancai<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant has been known for some health purposes for centuries. The benefits are detoxifying and purifying the blood as well as improving kidney function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"green-message wp-block-heading\" id=\"serving-size-4\" style=\"font-size:22px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Serving size: 4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ingredients\" style=\"font-size:26px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Ingredients &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-text-color wp-block-list\" style=\"color:#333333;font-size:18px\"><li>550g <a href=\"https:\/\/howaneltravel.com\/wp\/organic-farming\/homegrown-garden-journal\/mustard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chinese Mustard Greens<\/a><\/li><li>2 Tbsp vegetable oil<\/li><li>3 cloves of smashed garlic<\/li><li>5 small dried chilli <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"instructions\" style=\"font-size:26px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Instructions &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"has-text-color wp-block-list\" style=\"color:#333333;font-size:18px\"><li>Wash and clean Chinese Mustard Greens, and then cut them to small pieces. Separate the stem parts with the leafy parts. <\/li><li>Heat the vegetable oil in a wok. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for about a minute.  <\/li><li>Add the stem parts in to the wok. Turn the heat high and stir fry for a minute. Then add in the leafy parts and stir fry for 5 minutes. <\/li><li>Add salt if you desire, and stir to mix well. <\/li><li>Transfer to a plate and serve<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a busy working class.
